We all go through life differently
We have different experiences
We see things differently
None of us see it all

Some of us see the big picture
As if we were looking at the world
Through a wide angle lens
Missing the fine details
And much of the Joy

Some of us see all the detail
As if we were looking at the world
Through a microscope
Seeing the details of the pieces
But not knowing how the pieces fit together

Some of us look far away
As if viewing through a telescope
Worried only about the furture
And missing the here and now

Many only see what is right in front
Using a close-up lens
Focusing only on things
When it is too late to change

All of us are viewing life
With a periscope
Only seeing what we can see
And the rest is unknown

The only way to understand
is to listen to the other's
point of view
To see life through their eyes.

Let's listen and
Respect each other
and understand...
We might just learn something!
